Previous roles include IT Director at the London Commodity Exchange; Director of IT Services, Commodities Division at LIFFE; and CEO of an AIM-listed market-data specialist providing solutions to major commodity exchanges such as CBOT, CME and LME, and to price-delivery organisations such as Bloomberg, IDC and Thomson Reuters.

Alex has been with Deutsche Börse Group since 2015, working closely with EEX throughout that time. With extensive experience in the energy commodities exchange sphere, he has led the development and management of high-performance, highly reliable SaaS commodities trading products, with a focus on delivering scalable, efficient solutions for rapidly growing markets and providing best-in-class service. Prior to KB Tech, Alex led the technology and product teams delivering the family of products in Deutsche Börse’s M7 Product Suite, including M7 Trading, M7 XBID, M7 Auction and M7 Gas.

Paul, a co-founder of KB Tech, has over 25 years’ experience in software development, during which he has helped businesses use cost-effective software to solve real requirements. He has worked across a wide cross-section of industries, delivering successful solutions including textile stock-management systems, pension analytical tools for IFAs, and a fruit pack-house management system.

Andrew is KB Tech’s Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the technical architecture, strategy and engineering of the company’s trading platforms. He has more than 30 years’ experience in software engineering, and has led the design and development of KB Tech’s trading systems for over 15 years.

Ben brings 14 years’ experience from an international business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, where he held a range of roles including VP, Head of EMEA Compliance, giving him broad knowledge across multiple market sectors, including financial services. Since joining KB Tech in 2023, he has led the strengthening of KB Tech’s information security and compliance posture, resulting in certification against key ISO and security standards. He also serves as KB Tech’s Data Protection Officer.

David, a co-founder of KB Tech, has wide experience managing the delivery of cost-effective IT solutions across general transactional financial markets, with a focus on commodities — including price-transparency solutions, trading-engine deployments and integration, risk systems, and the migration of legacy systems.
