Who we are

KB Tech Ltd is a UK-based software company providing data-management products and services to the trading and financial markets. Since 2020 we have been part of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) Group. We are a lean, collaborative team, and we keep a start-up mentality: moving quickly and keeping our people at the core of what we do.

What we do

We are home to the KB Trading System — a range of modular, connected services that manage real-time data within and around the trading environment. The platform delivers auction, matching and clearing facilities for energy commodities and financial markets, and underpins solutions such as trade registration, straight-through-processing clearing, price discovery and market-data distribution. Current and previous users include the European Energy Exchange, Cleartrade Exchange (now EEX Asia), World Container Index and Norexeco.

How we work

Our strength is the combination of business analysis and software development. We specialise in understanding business processes and building systems around them, to tailor our products to meet our clients’ needs. Our solutions are flexible and adapt as clients’ requirements change. We have extensive experience with a wide range of data formats and administration requirements, especially in real-time financial markets: trading, clearing and transactional services for exchanges, clearing houses, brokers, trading companies and data vendors.
